Costa Esuri Golf Club, rated as a Gold Course of Aymerich Golf Management, is part of Costa Esuri Golf Resort, located in Ayamonte, in the heart of the Spanish Algarve. Two 18-hole courses, and a magnificent hotel resort, comprises the best choice for your golf in Costa de la Luz and in the East of the Algarve. The lack of houses in the course, 36 holes, its privileged location on the bank of the Guadiana River, the fantastic views to Portugal and to the mouth of the river, the little distance to the beach, all the comforts and the complementary offer of the Resort, make this club a golfers paradise. The West Course is a long course, over 7,300 yards long of American style, with very wide fairways, and exquisite shaping of the greens, with spectacular views to Portugal and to the Guadiana River. The East Course, that will be opened in February 2008, is quite long as well, with more than 6,900 yards, is very well integrated in the slope towards the salt marshes of the Guadiana River, and with views to the sea and the town of Ayamonte. It is a more technical course than the West one.

have now played this course a few times. it still needs more work on the fairways but compared to previous visits it was in much better condition and the greens were very good
Nice course and clubhouse
iv'e played esuri many times, fairways are not great, I wanted to walk today, cold winds but manageable. greens are not as short as I would like but ok.front 9 is very open.
Lovely course, undergoing winter maintenance but not a major problem. Very quiet, friendly staff.

Good. No problems
there was a lot of damage on the course possibly large animals digging, the greens were patchy and slow, but good value for money
Probably shop extremely helpful and friendly Last 9 holes more interesting than the first, but all holes in excellent condition
Nice course, but the fairways are a little bit dry.
very friendly and good value for money. greens good but fairways very bumpy and lacking grass especially on the front 9. Regards, Terri Wills
I initially made a mistake when booking and when I contacted the staff they were most helpful in correcting the problen.
Played this course two days ago and it was fantastic. Today was different, we were two players stuck behind two fourballs who would not let us through. They were painfully slow, unfortunately no course wardens so we had to wait to take every shot!! Still a great course for all standards but slow players need to be monitored.
Fantastic course, ideal for all standards.
Course in very good condition although most of the bunkers were “ground under repair”, possibly due to heavy rainfall in the area over the last week. A really good test of golf. Nice meal in the lovely modern clubhouse afterwards. Friendly and efficient staff. All in all tremendous value for money.
Friendly staff. First part of course is not too good, but last 12-13 is very good.
Farirways patchy and greens very uneven with Long grass and very very slow. Still represents decent value compared to some of the other local courses
Well organised very quick

After recent rain there was a little more growth on the fairways. The greens were slow and bumpy as they had not been cut and have different grasses on them
Enjoyed the course.
It is value for money for the greenfee of 34 euro we paid. We know that Costa Esuri has problems. But considering what they do to maintain the golfcourse as possible for that greenfee we cannot complain. We only played in Spain at Costa Esuri. So your question ''Favourite Golf course'' is for us not applicable.
Once again it has been a good experience.
It is great value for the money Best regards John and Goethe.
Course is well laid out but in need of work
Perfect, great course. Brilliant staff
Everything has been okay. Nice Course and good price.
God service Nice Course at Esuri.

Frontdesk friendly Restaurant was closed!!! Buggy good Fairways poor Greens good enough
Great value for money (2 people and a buggy) will definitely play again next spring when the course I'm sure will be even better with having some rain !

Front desk good Buggy good Greens rather long Fairways not so good because of the dry weather. Total acceptebel.
Esuri were happy to change my tee date/time as my plans had changed. The course looks to have improved since last year and is excellent value for money

Very enjoyable and well maintained course. Good contrast to Castro Marim in type of course

Back nine good. Too many nests with procession caterpillars
very kind staff and pleasant course
A very welcoming clubhouse but have to say that the course was average and it is clear that the course needs major investment to improve its condition.Having said that we only paid EUR76 for 2 players and a buggy so in that respect it was very good value for money. Had a lovely meal in clubhouse afterwards and it was BOGOF on Wednesdays so it was even better value for money !!6/10
We started out on Costa Esuri in a bit of a hurricane, and we were enjoying the course until the rain came.We had to come in after the ninth hole, as we were all soaked to the skin. Again there were no buggies unless pre booked. Staff and food there were very good. We would love to play there again.
