The Quinta do Vale golf course, which has been designed with the interests of the adjacent property complex in mind, is sure to attract golfers of every level and is a strong candidate for hosting important international championships. Covering an area of 75 hectares, the course is fully integrated into the surrounding natural landscape, taking full advantage of the irregularities of the terrain which give a unique personality to each of the 18 holes.|The ambition with which it was designed is evident in the unusual way that the different holes balance each other out and in the singular features which complement and differentiate them: embankments, lakes, bunkers, hillocks, hollows…. A highly attractive course which is characterised by various levels of difficulty that will be a challenge to beginners and test the skill of more experienced players.

This is a tough course but with varied tee options. First nine flat with lots of water and difficult to judge carries. Back nine on hilly land but easier to see where you are going. Greens in very good condition - fairways and surrounds not as good.

Staff is great in all aspects from arriving and checking in to checking out of the bar!
Layout of the course is very good and challenging!
The drawback is the fairways are bare in many spots and they may have some drainage issues from rain leaving a soggy course.

Buildings and the course could benefit from some money being spent on tidying up. New buggies were impressive, but was that they best way to create a better impression ?

- ** - An interesting course right on the border river with Spain. The layout in the hilly terrain is very good. Unfortunately, like many others, the course suffers from a lack of water.
Currently not worth the journey from Vilamoura!

Good Golf Course and very very good reception. The men in the Pro Shop is very kind and very friendly. The Fairways in some holes are without Grass and that is not good if you consider the price for 10 green fees.
