Hello Jorge, just had my update regarding Silves golf course, the greens were in very good condition but the fairways and the course in general were very poor and not one that we will play next year. I'll just add the transfers were once again 10/10

This was the first time we played at Silves and we really enjoyed our round of golf there. The course had good variety and interest for our mixed capability group. And we were 'tee to green' without being held up pretty much the whole way round. We will definitely be back.

Surprised by how enjoyable Silves was as it's not that high up on review lists . Nice course , good variety of holes .Not overly long so perfect for holiday golf- but hilly in spots- mostly from green to following tee, so buggy recomended

Silves is one of our favourite courses in the Algarve. It doesn't have spectacular views, or particularly outstanding holes, but just a relatively open course which can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Always in good condition with friendly staff. Only minor complaint is the pace of play was quite slow which I attributed to a few groups of older and higher handicap golfers in the 4-ball groups ahead of our 2-ball.

This was the first time I had played Silves for several years. The last time, the new clubhouse was just being built. I must say I was surprised and disappointed by how tiny the changing rooms were. I don't suppose they'll do anything about it now they've finished the building, but they should have been much bigger. I was also surprised and disappointed by the lack of practice facilities. There is no driving range, just a net, and a very small practice putting green. The course was great though. We thoroughly enjoyed it although there are some steep climbs and a few long walks between greens and tees. I wish I had taken a buggy. The steep climb up the hill to 18th is a killer at the end of a round. I would definitely play Silves again.

We also played here in May this year. The course is good. In front of us they played slow. I think a lot of courses need a Marshall to advoid slow playing! Both times the reception and the bar were absoluut not friendly.

The course was generally in a poorer condition than our previous visits. Lack of attentions to greens condition and general attention to detail . We still enjoyed our round in spite of this but the conditions could be partly due to lack of irrigation.

One of our favourite courses in the Algarve based on layout, condition and value for money. Only complaint on our last visit was the starter allowed 5 separate 2-balls to play late afternoon rather than pairing groups in 4-balls so we had to wait at every hole as the pace of play was dictated by 4-balls 3 groups ahead.

Enjoyed the day, course in reasonable nick. Walked with a trolley today, got held up by a slow 4 ball, had to wait every hole on the back 9, wouldn't let us through. ????
