Álamos Golf Course
Lying to the north of Portimão it is a neighbor of another Algarve Golf Course, Morgado do Reguengo. When playing Álamos golf course, players can enjoy great views of the Monchique mountains, lakes, and farmland, there is a real sense of getting away from it all there. It’s shorter than Morgado (Par 71) but it has all the features necessary to fulfill the expectations of the most demanding player. More than a test of golf, the Alamos Golf course attests to the harmony which may be achieved between the man-made and nature itself.Undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers and steeply sloping greens define this wonderful golf course.Pray that your put is hot and the reward is guaranteed

Very very poor.
5hrs 15mins to play isn't acceptable.
We should have been advised what poor fondition the course is in. It should currently be closed.

Service very good. No issues with club hire and buggies. Course very short off the yellow tees and white tees weren't available to play off. Morgado is the superior of the two courses.

Nice day , early start, sister course to Morgado , which we played earlier in the week. Greens are challenging and very difficult to read , some very large. Course condition is OK but not as good condition as Morgado ,particularly around the edges of the green areas. All in all a pleasant course , fair challenge.

We played Alamos golf course in May 23 with the Algarve in a drought situation, and it really showed on this course. The greens and tees were still in pretty good condition though. The layout is reasonably interesting, but the round was quite slow, nearly 5 hours. There was no sign of any marshalling on the course to move things along.
We are regular fit golfers, but are glad we took a buggy as there are some long distances from green to tee, and again at the end coming in from 18.
Tee times.pt organised everything well again.

A decent golf course and great for variety on a trip to Portugal. Slightly shorter holes which means for some interesting tee shots!

First time we've played the, reasonably priced, Alamos. Enjoyable but very dry and contoured greens made putting extremely challenging.

It is a short golf course. Nice design and good maintenance. The ground is quite dry in several parts of the course.

Our least favourite course. Was not in as good condition as the others. But a nice course all the same.
*Exposed - Wind conditions affect club selection
*Buggy Recommended - Recommended due to back 9
*Water hazards - Stream running through course, well defined
*Parkland - Hilly terrain, with rolling fairways
*Signature Hole - 14th par5 stroke 2
*Comments - Quiet inland course, great experience
