The Valle Guadiana Links course is located at the left bank of Guadiana River’s mouth, which serves as a border between Spain and Portugal.
Being integrated into a Nature Reserve, its special idiosyncrasy gives a freeing and relaxing effect, different from the rest of the golf courses nearby.
Valle Guadiana Links is a superb riverside parkland course on his front nine with a real links feel on the back nine. Just 2 kilometers from the highway connecting directly with Seville and Portugal (A-49). Valle Guadiana Links Golf Club is part of the Costa Esuri Urbanization, in the city of Ayamonte, in the heart of the Spanish Algarve

We are very happy with this course and think it is good value for the money. It is in good condition, the greens are good and have reasonable speed.

Slight confusion with reception over who I was paired up with, but all got sorted and had an enjoyable 18 holes with 2 others. Condition of the course was good, some evidence of the effect of a long dry summer, but the greens were fine, with good speed.

Leuke baan. Lekker rustig kunnen lopen. Niet al te moeilijk.

Found the staff most friendly and helpful. Course in v good condition throughout despite recent rains. Not really a links course. 14 of the 18 holes are parkland.

I had a 10.30 tee time. Reception told me I would play with 2 others. I got to the 1st tee at 10.22, just as a couple were leaving the tee. I checked their tee time, but they were 10.20.
By 10.30, a four-ball arrived & said they were due to play. I checked the 10th tee, but again it was a four-ball. I phoned reception & they said I should have gone with the couple at 10.20 - this was *not* mentioned when I checked in.
I then had to jump in front of the four-ball on the 1st and play quickly to catch the couple up.
The rest of the round was enjoyable, just a shame about the start.
