Quinta do Lago South Golf Course, favourite of many tour players, offers the possibility to hit the greens in regulation in several ways. However, each hole has one easy route and the player who sees this, and has the skill to follow the designer's intention, and produce sub-par figures. An anti-clockwise loop, it favours the draw shot.|This course favours the long hitter, but requires the player to pick a particular route to score well. the south course is really amazing, in a very good condition. the views are beautiful and the tracé of the holes are superb. the terrace of the club house is nice but the inside very poor

Course is well maintained.
On every corner is noise, leaf blower, cranes, construction work and so on.
Between the lakes is a bit of a reach with only two holes where you have to cross the water(lakes)
Overall, expensive and there are better courses around the Algarve.

Very challenging course with quite a lot of dog legs, blind shots and elevated greens. Not as enjoyable as Quinta North and in my view your need to play it a number of times to get to know it.
