Quinta da Ria Golf Course was the first of two 18-hole golf courses in a spectacular location on the coast of the eastern Algarve, known locally as 'Sotavento'. Quinta da Ria, situated in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, has already been described by experienced golfers as the most breathtaking golf course in the Region. In fact, there will be no houses, or villas, or apartments to distract you from your game: just you and a breathtaking nature. A nice open golf course, very thick rough, lower edges bunkers and some water coming in to play on some holes.

Nice to go back to Quinta da Ria, it's been four years for me since the last time. Would like it to be a more regular venue. Have never played Quinta da Cima perhaps that could be included.

The course at Quinta da Ria is maintained to a high standard and is one of the most scenic in the area. Staff very friendly too. Really enjoyed my round there!

Loved the course. My favourite so far. You need to be accurate with the driver. Some very difficult holes, even for a low handicap, I’d play it again. Very soft sand, but consistent, not may courses have soft fluffy sand like this. We had some birdies and some others.
