We've been golfing in the Algarve for many years and the Vale do Lobo courses are one of our favourite. Again they didn't disappoint. From arrival to leaving the experience is second to none. Superb clubhouse and facilities, excellent golf courses with stunning views to take in on most of the holes. The staff, in the most part, were great. A couple of staff in the bar area, through their attitude, gave the impression they didn't want to be there! Didn't spoil the experience though.

What a magnificent course. From the minute you arrive this feels like a ‘next level’ experience . The clubhouse, putting green, course and team are excellent. When we played they were experiencing issues with water shortage, however this didn’t impact the bar!

Beautiful course in an excellent setting. Late twighlight hours prevented us sadly from completing the whole course. Current irrigation upgrades spoil the setting and ambiance currently but these will enhance the golf course in the years ahead.

The Ocean course was not in the best of condition green were a bit bumpy they were not in as good a condition as they were when we played it back in February. They young lady at check in was excellent and very friendly not like some the members we came across on the course.

Good course layout in decent condition - recent rains have made areas rather muddy, and there’s a bunch of cart path construction around holes #2 and #3. Pace of play was not great (4:30), but also not horrible.

Very nice course. Staff course OK, in terrass very unfriendly, arrogant, could not pay under 10 € for drinks with cash. DRiving range non existing, only iron 9! Marshalls dit not act on slow players in fort of us but used a drone to make them nervous. So not adequate. Will not go back.

Great course but slow play in front of us nearly resulted in getting hit from group behind who were also getting frustrated! A friend also got grazed by a stray ball coming from another hole with no warning. Handicaps should be checked!

Leider gibt es keine richtige driving range. Einspielmöglichkeit may. Bis eisen 9. Es war sehr laut auf dem Platz. Sehr viele green keeper mit lauten Geräten und lauten Fahrzeugen. Leider waren die meisten Abschläge übersät mit benutzten Tees. Bei den Grüns wurden leider selten die pitchingeinschläge repariert. Eine Station zur Säuberung der Schläger haben wir nicht gefunden (aber auch nicht danach gefragt) Der ocean Kurs, besonders die 2. Löcher sind sehr schön angelegt. Das Greenfee in dieser Höhe ist meines Erachtens nicht gerechtfertigt für den Platz. -**- Unfortunately there is no real driving range. You may play in. Until iron 9. It was very loud on the course. Lots of green keepers with noisy equipment and loud vehicles. Unfortunately, most of the tees were littered with used tees. The pitching on the greens was rarely repaired. We didn't find a station to clean the clubs (but didn't ask for one either) The ocean course, especially the 2nd holes, is beautifully laid out. In my opinion, the green fee at this level is not justified for the course

We played the Ocean course the day after its sister course The Royal and the comparison could not be more different. Some of the fairways were patchy and the tee boxes were not in the best condition. Also all of the greens were spiked which meant even though they were very fast they were not totally true. This was the 4 th time I had played this course and this was the poorest condition that I have seen it in.

The course was in good condition and its location is fabulous. I was disappointed in one of the buggies as the edge of the seat was badly ripped . As we paid Euro 55, I expected better. Apparently they are going to change all buggies however, in the meantime, they should reduce the price.

We enjoyed playing the Ocean course, some of the fairways are not in the best condition. The green were firm and putted nicely if you got on the wrong side of the hole it's a challenge to keep the ball on the green particularly with the flags at the front of the green.
