Usual good day's golf at Boavista. Course staff all very friendly and helpful. Play was a bit slow on the day but not much the course can do about that.

All the staff at the club were friendly and helpful. The course was in fair condition taking into account the weather you have had here over the last year or so.
However, the pace of play was extremely slow even for a resort course taking well over 5 hours.

Good facility and good attention from all of the staff. Some parts of the course are currently in need of a little attention.

Pace of play was abysmal 5 1/2 hrs was too long, I appreciate there was a weather delay but that was not included in the 5 1/2 hrs. Otherwise organisation course and company was good. A warning about the weather delay would have good but I appreciate this may not have been easy. The pace of play was the main issue

The delayed start due to bad weather could have been managed better with starting groups on the 10th as the round took 5.5 hours. The course was in good condition but the bunkers need to be re sanded and on of the waiters in the bar/ restaurant was very rude & abrupt.

As always, I enjoyed the layout and challenge of the course. Unfortunately the pace of play was depressingly slow. When we arrived at the sixth tee there were four groups ahead of us waiting to tee off. It took us two hours and ten minutes to complete the first six holes and almost 5.5 hours in total. A course ranger to keep things moving would help. Also make the sixth a call up hole.

Boavista was a good course for our group, no real issues, maybe just the 17th hole lets the course down a bit

Nothing really wrong about this place, the course is in ok condition.
The design is ok, but too many blend holes.
Driving range is below par.
Not a bad experience all in all, but I wouldn't return.

Was very disappointed if I’m honest, played course many times and has always been a magnificent experience with the views and the layout of the course but unfortunately the greens were disgraceful ???? I was actually going to email course to see if I could get a refund or voucher or discount for a further visit

We played the courses Alvor and Lagos today. Both courses are not in a good condition. The greens are bad. We had two flights in front, who were very, very slowly and the marshal did nothing to fasten the game flow. The design of the courses is nice.

Probably our favourite course in Western Algarve, great lay out with lovely views.
Sadly this year, let down by sub standard greens which they are blaming in lack of water, but greens are missing sections of green which is a major disappointment. Need to be lowering their base cost when in that state and not just reducing costs of buggies

Though the staff were very pleasant I'm afraid the course was in very poor condition - especially the greens and tees. We would not have booked this course if we knew it's condition.

Golf course was in very poor condition, weeds in greens with ball patches. Tee boxes no upkeep. Other courses in the area were far better than this.

Course was in dreadful condition and frankly shouldn’t have been open when we played. Very disappointed as this was our top rated course. Would love
to visit when they resolve the issues. More effort has gone into the development and not golf course.

Played today the Alvor + Lagos Course, which are really well designed Courses, despite the Fairways were quite dry and the Greens also not in the best conditions.

Greens are currently not appealing at all (mostly on Alvor and Lagos) but actually not so bad. Course is really dry.
Lagos is my favorite loop. Praia could be a great one too but the design is unfortunately pretty blend imho.
While the clubhouse is beautiful, it's a bit of a mess to get access by cab/Uber.
The place has cleary some great potential but need some improvement.

Nice layout - played the Alvor and Lagos 9s - Praia nines looked good to - very links. Greens rolled ok (wish people would repair their pitch marks ????), tee boxes very neat and tidy, fairways and around a bit brown but it’s been warm and dry here so no shock there.
Buggy at €50 is crazy steep - yes it’s comfortable but no GPS or drinks box.

It was okay back 9 better than front 9.
Buggy is a must but be careful Buggy paths a bit tricky in places. Only downside was stuck behind a mixed four ball who took over 2 hours to play 6 holes. Need to contact golf reception to sort it.

A very existing course, lots of steap hills and ondulated fairways. Every hole needs course management. It’s totally different from Palmares golf. Inlands and not as luxurious. But hospitality very pleasant and good food. The greens needed some repair. A bit outdated at times.

-**- The course was in good condition, the greens excellent! The individual holes are interesting to play, but the course is a ball eater. Many sloping positions, so that the ball runs very quickly into the adjacent bushes and can also no longer be found. The limited opening hours of the kitchen in the very nice clubhouse restaurant with a beautiful view of the course are a pity. You have to order by 4 p.m., after that there are only very tasty baguettes. Otherwise, the cuisine is really good!

The clubhouse is spectacular but it is obviously only the start of the development with road construction still underway. The course itself is quite hilly but there are some very beautiful holes. The greens, tees and fairways were in great condition. However, many of the fairways have run-offs which on another course would put you in the rough. The lack of rough means that we lost lots of balls from decent shots either in the scrub to the side or small valleys. I’m sure if you played the course often you would work out where you can and cannot hit the ball but this is easier said than done with the wind in the hills. Not a course for high handicappers unless they let the rough grow to keep balls in play.

Espiche course was in excellent condition and the Green fee was good. My only issue was that the round was very slow due to a 4 ball ahead of us otherwise a good round.

Nice course , unfair at times good shots can be easily lost due to sloping fairways AND BLIND SHOTs , course and greens in good condition. Our group lost several balls some to good shots.

Course requires accurate play. Small greens. Fairways dry and hard, bunkers wet. Green and tee boxes in good condition. Wind is an additional challenge.
Quality of the restaurant? Good question. We left after being ignored for more than 15 minutes.

played here 8 years ago and the addition of the clubhouse is a good step forward and looks great, on the course i commented last time about there being no rough so you went from fairway to dense wooded areas, this has been partly improved on some holes but not enough, the bushes are penal as its a lost ball every time the rough that is now there is not grown as its so thin as to be non existent it badly need some watering to get some growth in it [ not always possible with the climate }but its really a lottery when you hit the right part or the fairway and it disappears over the hill and isn,t seen again {the 10th being one example} progress has been made but not enough as all 4 of us said we will not play it again, greens were good though,

A very windy and warm day at Espiche. We love this course as the always changing winds makes it even more difficult to enjoy a good score. Unfortunately today it was slow play with two groups of young guys In the flights in front of us. Nevertheless we enjoyed the round.

-**- The golf course is beautifully situated near Lagos. Unfortunately, the course is hardly playable on some holes, as the balls roll into the adjacent bushes due to the topography of the course, despite well-placed drives. The grass is so mown down that the ball cannot be stopped. It's a pity, because the course has great holes and would be so much more fun! Hence the somewhat poor grade.
