Very enjoyable but tough afternoon at Victoria. A long course and very challenging as you would expect from the host of the Portugal Masters. Its an interesting course but also long so you need to be on your game, coupled with very fast greens and difficult to read when i played. Friendly team when checking in and around the course. I would thoroughly recommend but ensure you have played a few warm up rounds to truly enjoy it otherwise at the green fee cost it can be an expensive and frustrating round.

Always play Old Course when we come over. This time it was not enjoyable. We were paired with another 2 ball. Although company was good one player was of unknown handicap and was terrible. Ruined the experience for the round. Supposed to have been our holiday treat. Will need to rethink this for next time.

Hi, I always love playing the old course. I was a little disappointed though on this occasion. Pinhal is in top condition and the best Dom Pedro course this summer! The tee board is still missing on hole 4 and there has been various rubbish at tee 16 since January! (Tee board is in the bushes…)
Strange that there is not a single course worker who can pick up the rubbish that has been there for months. 10 points would otherwise have been within reach.

Good shape overall, but many players does not fix pitch mark at all! Tee board is completely missing on hole 4. On hole 16 at the tee, it looks like someone littered and drove over the tee board with a vehicle.
For an experienced golfer, it is very annoying that the flag marking is wrong on most of the tee flags. Indicates poor commitment from course staff when cutting or placing the flags.

Far too hot but you can’t control that unfortunately. However the golf should flow easily but this won’t happen when you are following a 5/6 ball which was holding the whole field up. This spoilt the experience ruined our game having to wait to take every shot - not nice in this heat.

Welcome was good, was able to tee off early as the course was quiet in the afternoon. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The course overall was in good conditions, tee boxes, fairways etc but the greens were not great. Looks like they had either suffered very badly over the winter or had been prepared in some way to regenerate growth for the new season. They were flat, a bit bobbly, but very little grass on them and not giving you a positive impression at all. When I played in November they were in good condition.

Played Laguna on the 20th of Feb. This golf course should not have been open to the public..the state of the greens were byond bad ...not a green blade of grass to be seen anywhere on the greens. The fairways and tees were just slightly better.
Tee Times reply: Dear Mr Maguire, Thank you for your comments.
The Laguna golf course has Bermuda grass greens, which need less water to keep. However, it hibernates during the winter and changes from green to brown during this time until temperatures start to rise again to average 18-19º and it enters its active state. Kind regards, Tee Times Golf Agency

Booking was easy, no problems with teetimes and the course was beautiful.
It was just all very rushed, they’d given out buggies to a large group which meant when I went to get my buggy, I was waiting until 2 minutes before my tee time to get it, and then told to hurry up. Wasn’t impressed by the rush considering how much money we paid
It seems like the group want to maximise profits at the expense of a relaxing holiday round of golf
Course was great just far to rushed and felt like I was always being watched and rushed forward
